Arctic Animals

Throughout the week, we have been talking about, watching and reading about the animals that live in the Arctic. Yesterday and today, students did a phenomenal job of drawing those animals.

After reading the book, A Promise is a Promise by Robert Munsch, we talked about what animals live under the ice and which animals live above - and those that live in both environments! 

Students had to plan out their pictures and spent time accurately drawing arctic animals of their choice. Today, we worked on using pastels to add colours. The art looks incredible!
